Hello world!!!
In Montreal has been raining since yesterday and I L O V E D IT!!! I think is great for the plants and the grass. Plus, we can not complain about the great summer we are having. well… don’t be mad at me for saying that, I am not jinxing it!!! Anyway… we don’t have that much left of this summer anyway… buahhhhhhh.
And why am I talking about the rain? well, rain is usually associated with difficult times and I like to think that I am at the end of one of those… I finally feel that I am starting to catch my breath and to have a clearer picture of where I want to go and how to get there. The journey is not even close to be over and I know there is still a lot of work ahead to be done, but I am taking one day at a time and surrounded by great friends so I know I am OK.
There are more readers in the blog… THANK YOU!!!! and of course I am sticking to my promise of doing a DIGITAL giveaway each week: I hope you like the RAIN related DIGI Stamp of today’s freebie (just click on it and “grab it” with my blessings). What do you think about the quote I chose for it? The image you see of this little girl belongs to the “WATER Rain Paper Collection” of Kiki Art Winter 2010 but it is also part of a new product I have designed for new Kiki Art goodies to be revealed soon… it will all match up!!!
Did you know that all the images of people I draw / design are based on real people? this girl holding the umbrella is my little niece ANITA… If you keep following my blog and Kiki Art’s blog you will find her in many of the layouts I create. I love my nieces and nephews!!! When they were little I was able to spoil them more, now they are all grown up and I only get to read their Facebook from far away, I hope they know I love them and we will get to see each other soon.
This weekend there was a lot of creating going on around my home. I am starting to learn how to get organized to do layouts, cards and projects even though I also have to run a business and a home ( kids + puppy dog) in three languages… while trying to keep a normal life in the middle of all that. I have asked my more experienced professional designer friends how they do it… and most of them replied the key is to “JUST MAKE THE TIME FOR IT!!!”. What do you think? What is your secret to schedule moments to play with your papers and paints?… I would love to know how you find the time to sit down and create your projects !!!
I now leave you with a little Sneak peek of one of the Layouts I created with the Kiki Art Paper line offered in the Scrapbook Magazine: SUNNY BAY. Guess who is in the picture?

That sneak peek looks gorgeous – thanks for the digi freebie
Love the digi stamp!!!
Thank you so much Kiki.
I usually scrap at night, when everybody is asleep. Or if I have the need for scrapping during the day, I let the kids watched a movie, they are at least 2 hours long you know?
moi je scrap le soir quand les enfants sont coucher, plus tranquille pour crée hihi merci pour l’image digital!!!
Wonderful drawing and sentiment!! thank you for sharing!
Thanks for the cute image!
FYI the link for Kiki art blog doesn’t work.
Love this way cute image–thank you so much!!
The digi stamp is just darling and I love the sentiment that goes along with it. I don’t do the fancy scrapbooking, instead I make cards. I did do 8 scrapbooks for last Christimas for my four children. One was from baby to now and the other one was more of a genealogy book. Took me a year and half to do them but I did get them finished in time for Christmas. I am now doing a scrapbook with pictures plus clippings from newpaper articles and anything newsy with them and their children. I’m afraid if I had done them fancy the books would have been too heavy to lift, but I sure did have fun!! Thanks for sharing your talent.
Lovely stamp thank you
This is a beautiful image, Kiki. Thank you so much for sharing.
Love Joan xx
Cool image with sentiment! Thank you!
Thanks so much for the darling digi stamp. I love the saying you put with it. It’s so true.
I’m glad to hear that your difficult time is starting to end. My prayers are with you as you work through this time.
I used to run a business from my home while raising my family ( though not in 3 languages). One thing that helped some with finding time to create was having a place where I could leave a project out. That way I could work on my project any time I had a few spare moments. I didn’t need to look for blocks of time to carve out of my schedule. I wish you the best as you juggle everything.
Fab image thank you so much for sharing this!

adorable image. Thank you so very much for sharing it. You sound very busy. I wish I had an answer for you but I am at a loss. My children are raised but I do babysit my grand kids. I do my crafting when they are not here. Have a wonderful evening.
